Heidi's Story:
If the cost of a traditional wedding here in the states seems beyond your means, Heidi recommends that you "Consider a destination wedding. The average wedding costs around $20 thousand dollars, we did ours for about $2,000! For that cost, we were able to spend seven days in paradise with everyone who came to share our special day instead of just a quick greeting in a reception line."
Her Tips:
- "Opt for spa services if they have them available at your location."
- "If you want a sunset wedding be sure that the sun sets at the location you desire."
- "Make a list of all the poses that you want beforehand and discuss those with your photographer. The day of the wedding is so hectic, that you may forget."
- "Make considerations for the wind, if your ceremony will be oceanfront. It can really have an effect on your photos and the sound quality of videos."
