Steps:
1. Cut several red larger size circles (about two inches in diameter). Cut the same amount of smaller white circles (about 1-1/2 inches in diameter).
2. Pull top and bobbin thread from machine so there is about 10 inches of both coming from needle and foot. Stitch a red circle directly through the center. Tip:Hold both threads and hand-turn the needle one stitch when sewing the first circle to prevent the threads from making a knot in the bobbin case. Complete three more stitches, and then stitch a white circle directly through the center. Sew three more stitches without any paper.
3. Repeat step 2 until the garland is the desired length.
