Branching Out in Brooklyn

Maria and Tom Keener live in a great three-bedroom apartment that was recently converted from a two-bedroom place in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They are not happy with the size of their kids' rooms, post renovation, so they have stored up some equity and have decided to trade in that equity for a larger apartment in a less-desirable neighborhood. They want to stay in Brooklyn, but after six months on the house hunt, they haven't found their perfect home just yet. Architect/designer Barry Wood shows them three houses and then real estate expert Brandie Malay reveals a design plan for each house that is customized for the family's needs. That should help them visualize their big move without breaking their bank!
