As parents of three young girls, Ryan and Erin Fletter are long overdue for a space they can reclaim as their own in their 1890's Victorian home. Ryan is studying to be a master sommelier, so he longs for a stylish yet practical place to store his collection of fine wines -- and this couple loves to entertain! Designer John Gidding is on hand to realize their dreams for their great room. John is an architect and designer of reimagined spaces so he has great plans for this space. He will refinish the kitchen area with fresh cabinet facing and veneer, install new appliances, build a mahogany breakfast bar and create a unique shelving system that ties the kitchen back into the rest of the space. John also creates a signature stacked wall that is not only a wine storage system but also a scalloped work of art! The transformation also includes a dual library bar (what's this?), and a one-of-a-kind dining room table that John calls the 'most amazing piece' he's ever designed. By the end, the Fletter's cluttered, style-less great room is transformed into an elegant, artistic and inviting space that meets all the family's entertaining and lifestyle needs.
