Miami in the 1950s -- a paradise for poolside celebrities at glamorous resorts, with homes being built in a futuristic new style. One such home, designed by architect Igor Polevitsky, combined elements of the new Miami Modern style with tropical living.

Features in the home include a 12-foot wall made of glass, walnut built-ins, highly polished stone floors and a floating staircase. The timeless design of the home keeps it as futuristic and modern today as it was in the 1950s.
