Decoupage and Scrap Metal
This show features two different artists who work in two very different styles. What they have in common is a passion for turning salvage yard finds into new accessories for the home. Josie Carter gives several household odds and ends new life through a process called decoupage. The transformations include a window frame into a mirror and an old pail into a flowerpot. Then Brett Lindell creates one-of-a-kind lighting fixtures out of pieces of scrap metal. When displayed together in a living room, the work of both of these artists brings a sense of style and character to the space.
