Bike Guys
Host Christine Pullara introduces our 'problem' living room as one with all the basic furnishings but one which desperately needs some colorful, trendy touches. With the help of bicycle artist Kif Scheuer, we create a magazine rack from a bike rim, a clock from a chain ring and a mirror woven from inner tubes. Scheuer also comes up with a handful of accessories for an empty coffee table top, including a candleholder made from a gear cluster, a picture frame from a bike chain and a set of bookends from the sprockets of a gear cluster. Finally, Scheuer outdoes himself with his 'over-the-top' piece-a glass and metal coffee table made entirely of welded bicycle parts. With the addition of this final piece, the transformation of our once problem living room is complete.
