Cardboard Creations
Host Christine Pullara introduces our 'problem room' as that of a homeowner who wishes to bring some life, character, color and charm into their bleak bedroom. Artist Lucy Lytle joins Pullara in the workshop to demonstrate how simple and very inexpensive it is to create attractive and interesting furniture and accessories from recycled cardboard! We begin by crafting a coffee table out of found cardboard, fiber tubing and glass then made a clock, lamp and picture frame also with the cardboard. Lytle then showcases her most elaborate creation- a fun and functional chess table. We added all of these furnishings and accessories into our 'problem' bedroom, transforming it into a warm and inviting space.
