Doors and Windows
Host Christine Pullara introduces our 'problem room' as that of a homeowner who needs basic furnishings for their living room. They would also like to add some accessories with warmth, character and charm. Artist Matthew Levesque joins Christine in the workshop to discuss how simple it is to create beautiful, inexpensive furniture out of found doors. Next, artist Kendra Frisbie demonstrates how to create a coffee table, six-paned mirror and wall-hung candleholder all out of discarded windows. Finally, following the same process he used to make the couch, Matthew Levesque has created a storage bench, again out of old doors. With the addition of this final piece, the transformation of our room is complete.
