New Orleans
This episode features four gardens in the French-influenced city of New Orleans. The first garden has several ponds with water lilies collected from around the world. The next garden, Beauregard-Keys, is the former home of both a war general and a renowned author. Our third garden is at a bed-and-breakfast called Les Jardin, located on several acres between two bayous. Our last garden takes us to Houmas House, a former plantation with a garden that is more than 100 years old.
