Italian Sitting Room
Host Susan Blake tours the Inspiration Room--a pink Italian sitting room full of luxurious fabrics and textures with a total design cost of over $100,000. Blake explains the design elements that make up the Venetian style in the Inspiration Room: 17th-century Fortuny fabrics on the accent pillows, ornate mirrors and a $45,000 100-year-old Ushac rug. Next, Blake introduces the makeover designer, Melissa Wilson, who takes on the challenge of transforming a cluttered play room into an elegant sitting room. The makeover room design includes peach-colored painted walls and furnishings and accessories that help create the Venetian look.
