Rubber stamps and the right color of ink can really enhance photos.
Simple details can really make a page come together. Guest Dee Gruenig reveals a way to fill in a page with colorful and easy embellishments.

Materials:

rubber stamps
photos
opaque sticker paper
matting papers
scrap paper
foam stamping pad
damp rag
cleaning tray
brush markers
bullet point memory pen
mini scalloed-edge scissors
Xyron with adhesive cartridge
dimensional adhesive dots
stipple brush
blo-pen

  1. Run photos through Xyron to add adhesive, then trim.

  2. Attach photos to sticker paper mats, and then trim leaving about 1/8 inch white border around all sides.

  3. Stamp flowers and grass (figure A) on sticker paper using brush markers as the ink.

  4. Stipple and Blo-pen grass onto the page.

  5. Cut out the flowers and grass images leaving tiny white edges (figure B).

  6. Using mini-scallop edge scissors cut out the grass mounds.

  7. Arrange the matted photos on background paper and adhere in place.

  8. Adhere the mounds of grass to the bottom edge of the page (figure C).

  9. Cut out clouds (figure D) and adhere to the top corner of the page, and then add journaling.
