Scrapbooking can be very therapeutic to children who are disabled or have special needs. This book offers a way to record their lives in an exciting way.

Materials:

Special Kids Paper Pals Die Cuts
Boo Boo Kids stickers and borders—Me and My Big Ideas
Block letters—Me and My Big Ideas
brightly colored cardstock
8" x 8" post bound album

Steps:

  1. Have the child place letters onto a cover page stating the name of his or her book.

  2. Place the paper doll onto the background paper (figure A).

  3. Dress the paper doll.

  4. Add any stickers or borders onto each page that best represent him/herself.

  5. Create journaling areas for the child to write down thoughts about the page.
