Your cardstock can be transformed through the use of one of the same products used for home improvement ... This page has highlights created by the use of sandpaper.

Change the look of printed or plain card stock by using Jill Miller's simple sanding technique.

Materials:

vellum
two toned card stock
light grit sandpaper
baby wipes
photos

Sanded Vellum/Embossed Paper

Lightly rub sandpaper across the paper until you have created desired highlights (figure A).

Tip: to buff out scratch marks that the sandpaper left behind, rub it out with fine sandpaper.

Denim Card Stock

Lightly rub the sandpaper over the darkest side of blue two-toned card stock. Continue this process until the page looks like denim ( figure B).
