Crazy for Cut-Outs: Sticky Cut-Outs

Add dimension to cut-outs with pop-dots and fiber.

Materials:

Bo-Bunny Press "Outdoor Adventure" die-cuts
adhesive
hole punch
4 eyelets
eyelet punch and setter
hammer
paper adhesive
mat knife
twine
scissors

Steps:

  1. Adhere the tree die-cut to green scrapbook paper.

  2. Place the 'Adventure' die-cut on the page with adhesive.

  • Punch a hole in each corner (figure A) of the corrugated paper, using a hammer and eyelet punch.

  • Insert the eyelet, and then use the hammer and setter to secure.

  • Adhere to the page with paper adhesive.

  • Use the tip of a mat knife to make a small hole near the eyelets on the page (figure B), then thread a piece of twine through each eyelet and through the small hole.

  • Secure the ends of the twine to the back of the page with tape.

  • Cut out the center of the tire die-cut with a mat knife.

  • Using scissors, cut between the bear die-cuts legs.

  • Place the tire die-cut between the bears legs.

  • Adhere a small length of rope (figure C), and then attach to the page going from the tree down to the swing.

  • Add dimension to the tree die-cut by cutting out small leaves, and then folding them in half. Attach them randomly to the tree cut-out.
