A Music Room
Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller turn a guest room into a comfy, cozy music room retreat. Fox builds a special wall rack to hang the owner's favorite collection of guitars, and then constructs a built-in music stand that is functional and adds a personal creative touch to the room. An old trunk that could have been found in the corner of an attic makes a perfect coffee table and adds to the room's theme. A few pieces of artwork, a new rug and a trundle bed offer a comfortable area to relax and listen to music. Hiller completes the old-fashioned theme with a collection of fabrics, patterns and textures reminiscent of the past.
