Quilting Creations
Travel to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., with the Simply Quilts camera crew to visit the Smoky Mountain quilt festival called A Mountain Quiltfest. It's not the largest quilt festival by any means, but it's jam-packed with down-home quilting. Afterward, get a lesson in adapting any quilt design to any quilt top with author and quilt expert, Helen Squire. Squire joins host Alex Anderson in the studio to demonstrate her method of making a muslin pattern before actually starting to quilt. She also shows tips on dealing with stencils and "no-knot" quilting.
