Wave Topography
Simply Quilts spotlights two male quilters who bring masculine style and interest to quilting. First we visit Tristan Blakeman, who creates contemporary and traditional improvisational quilts. Then artist Dan Olfe designs whole-cloth fabric quilts. Olfe begins with a colorful image, then combines his computer skills with his quilting skills to create interesting stripes and wave-like textures. The results are modern cyber quilts.
