A home economist and master gardener, Kathi Cardinalli may be familiar to HGTV viewers from her appearances on the
Decorating With Style and
Today at Home series. With a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, Cardinalli has developed school programs, pitched commercials and performed how-to segments on television. She runs a dressmaking and design business, and is also a partner at Windsor Studios, a company specializing in faux finishes and fine arts.
Raised on a farm in New Jersey, Renai Ellison began entering fashion shows at age 16. After earning a college degree in journalism, she signed a modeling contract with Ford and thus started her professional career. Ellison spent the next 17 years in the fashion retail industry, as a model, in sales and as an on-air host for QVC and the State Lottery. She also appeared in commercials and corporate videos before joining HGTV. When she's not co-hosting Our Place, Ellison travels the country as a fashion retail editor for Mode Magazine.
