Furniture Maker, Woodcarver, Plaster Artist
Furniture maker Robert Whitley of Solebury, Pennsylvania, re-creates the ball-and-claw foot of a highboy that was built in 1778, the original of which is in the Boston Museum. Glass artist Bob Hines builds a copper arts-and-crafts style lamp with confetti glass in his studio in Charleston, South Carolina. Father and son, Paul and Raleigh Renfree, carve an art noveau design into a wooden door and accent it with slices of sandstone.
