Tile Artist, Woodworker, Glass Artist
Tile artist Diana Watson mixes her own glazes in her Hermosa Beach, Calif., studio, as she decorates tiles for a Spanish-style fountain she's creating for a client's backyard. Just north of Columbus, Ohio, woodworker Craig Stevens cuts thin pieces of veneer and puts them together to create a marquetry bird for a cabinet door. Glass artist Salvador Equihua creates an abstract glass window out of fused glass that is speckled with space-age dichroic glass in his studio in Moriarty, N.M.
