A Patio Retreat
The homeowners want to use their deck to relax and entertain friends, but it faces the driveway and isn't very inviting. The area is also shady, and it's hard to grow plants. Host Rick Kaldrovics introduces landscape designer Karen Klare, who has designed a plan to install a variety of plants that will screen out the garage and driveway while creating an intimate setting for the deck. She will also dress up the deck with color--on the doors and in containers around the space.
