Landscaping a Cottage Garden
Many of the plants in this yard have grown old and died, leaving wide gaps in the landscaping. There is no definition between the lawn and flower beds, which makes yard maintenance difficult. Host Rick Kaldrovics introduces Carol Hooks, who has designed a plan for this landscape dilemma. She will make planting beds wider for a cottage-style garden and install cobblestone edging around the bed. She also plans to add a gate to give the front yard a sense of enclosure and block the view of the driveway.
