A Charming Garden Bench
The homeowner would like a bench with planters beneath some oak trees in her backyard. Host Ken Bastida and landscape designer Deborah Kuchar discuss design principles for a bench and planters that will bring more color and greenery to the area. They also discuss planting beneath trees. The team builds the bench and adds plantings to fit the seasons or the mood. Two shelves are hidden inside the bench planters so plants can rest on them.
