Murals, Finish It Off, Sleep Tight, Tray Decor
During the early fifties, there was a housing boom in the San Fernando Valley. Thousands and thousands of cookie cutter, three bedroom houses were constructed to accommodate the demand for housing after WWII. Designer Kurt Cyr did a valley house makeover to reflect his distinct and creative personality. Kitty Bartholomew and Cyr show how to incorporate some of his inexpensive and clever ideas into their own homes. Cyr also transforms a plain serving tray with spray paint and pressed leaves.
