Holiday Ideas
Chris Cassen-Madden returns to an historic home in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Designer Holly Holden has decorated her client's living room with a tree adorned with gold and glass ornaments. Then Madden shows off her own family room decorated for the holidays--a village scene collected by family members is prominently displayed. Carol Nemo has been collecting Judaica for 30 years and she explains some of the traditions behind Hanukkah and the symbolism of the dreidle and menorah. At the Herndon home in Atlanta, Georgia, Kwanzaa and Chrismas were both celebrated. Finally, the Grecian-styled governor's residence in Atlanta combines elegant Christmas decorations with the homegrown. The decorated rooms include the dining room, state drawing room, the sitting room and the entryway.
