Television, Microwave, Blender
During the mid-1900s household inventions were on the rise. We will take you inside a TV set, illustrate the brilliancy of a microwave and demonstrate the power of a blender. In 1927, we were first introduced to an image on a glass tube. Who would have known that in the decade following the television would be brought into our lives and into our hearts? Around that same time, two other inventions exploded onto the American scene. With the invention of the microwave, food preparation was cut to a minimum, while the blender put a new spin on old-fashioned drink favorites. The television, microwave, and blender brought simplicity as well as elegance into American culture.
