AIR TIMES:

Renaissance Castle and More
Check out three of the strangest houses that have ever had the country saying "What's With That House?" We'll visit a brand new Los Angeles house that looks a lot like a 1950s factory, only only not as dirty. In fact, it's completely clean and "green," with its own solar heating and generated electricity. Mark Baez builds these three-story structures for $100 a square foot. Next, just outside Seattle, we see a 1940s-style farmhouse that has been transformed into a renaissance-style castle. This 3,000-square-foot palace has turrets, suits of armor and is loaded with all kinds of castle-like souvenirs. Then, it's off to the city of Chicago to check out an 8,500-square-foot brick home that was once a service garage for a trucking company. Now it's like an Alice and Wonderland fantasy house, starting with the 20-foot-tall giant checkered flowerpot out front. The copper checkers were oxidized with horse urine to produce a green patina.
