Cliff-Side Bachelor Pad

Cliff-Side Bachelor Pad and More
Take a look at three of the most unusual houses in the country. First up is a concrete fortress created by architect Teen Woon, who wanted to ensure that it would stand up to the hurricanes that pound southern Florida. Next, on a normal street in Seattle is a duplex house covered inside and out with an ever-evolving whirlwind of art. Ceramic artists Shannon and Bruce Andersen call it "outside the mainstream" folk art. Last, but certainly not least, is the ultimate bachelor pad. The homeowner wanted to build a house at a prime oceanside spot in Laguna Beach, but regulations prevented him from building on the bluff. So he built into it. His spectacular modern home is literally buried in the cliff. His walls are rock solid, his roof is natural desert-scape and his doorstep is the ocean.
