George Gray, was born in St. Louis, Mo., raised in Tucson, Ariz., and currently divides his time between Los Angeles and the historic mining town of Bisbee, Ariz. He's a graduate of the University of Arizona, his birthday is March 11 and he has a 17-pound cat named Stinky.
Gray has always relaxed by tinkering with everyday things. The best way to understand something, says Gray, is to "take it apart and put it back together. If it still works and you haven't wound up in the hospital, chances are that you've done something right." This simple approach, which Gray uses when restoring his collection of vintage cars and motorcycles, also helps him prepare for television and film roles.
Gray's quick wit, engaging presence and analytical mind have served him well in the world of live stand-up and sketch comedy, as well as in his TV and film work. Most recently, he hosted ESPN's sports fantasy reality TV series I'd Do Anything. In his most famed role, Gray was the host of the television game show Weakest Link from NBC Enterprises. His film roles include Cabin Pressure (Lions Gate) and Ophelia Learns to Swim (Wroughten Films).
In 2003, Gray was honored to serve as co-host of the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) telethon. He also rides in the annual LOVE RIDE fund-raiser with numerous celebrities and thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts and emcees the annual MDA "Night Under the Stars" black-tie gala in Beverly Hills, Calif.
