High stakes meets high style when Design Star returns for a second season — this time in the entertainment capital of the world, fabulous Las Vegas! The competition heats up this summer as 11 aspiring designers once again risk it all for a chance to win the ultimate prize: their own show on HGTV! Each week the drama mounts as our competitors face design challenges that will put their expertise, creativity and sanity to the test! With their destiny in the hands of three judges and ultimately America's vote, it's going to take a lot of hard work, a lot of talent and maybe just a little bit of luck for one contestant to enter the spotlight and become the next HGTV Design Star. Winner takes all!
