Putrid in Pink Living Room
Julie Pratt of Wadsworth, Ohio, is desperate for help with making over her dated living room, which is the first room visitors see. It's so ugly and uninviting, she only uses the room to accommodate guests around the holidays.

Julie submitted photos of her room for the Summer Showdown series, beginning in August, in which a homeowner's room is selected from hundreds of submissions to be redesigned by HGTV's hottest stars.
