Iowa Round Barn, Maine Church, Indiana Furniture Store, Kentucky Stable
Tony Norby started with the only thing remaining of an abandoned 1870 round barn, the center silo, and expanded that into a three-story family home with two bedrooms and two baths. Loanne and Bruce Spaulding waited for years to turn a 1906 former Dutch Reform church into a gorgeous family home featuring a vast living space and gourmet kitchen. Mike Powell the 1905 Whitehill Galliher Furniture Store in downtown Muncie for his photography business, then set about creating a mansion in the 10,000-square foot space upstairs. Architect Clyde Carpenter turned an 1850 stable and carriage house into a winner of a home.
