Michaele Dunsdon and David Borken create a unique home in an 1890 Odd Fellows Hall in Basalt, Colo., by designing their living room around an old metal loading dock door and installing a glass floor that looks down into their game room. Tony Palumbo and Michael Collins dress up an 1834 cooperage in Colrain, Mass., with New York City subway grates to go along with oak flooring and chestnut beams.
