Family Room Floors Police officer Frank Torpey wanted to turn a back patio into a family room, so the he got to work replacing the windows. But the project stalled with a built-in bookcase, which was such a disaster it had to be hidden behind a wall hanging. Then when he tried to put in hardwood flooring, Torpey ran into an obstacle in the form of a large planter box left over from when the room was a patio. Eric Stromer and carpenter Bernie Meisinger arrive on the scene to provided some much-needed backup.
