"Our first house was actually an old mobile home that we rented when we first got married. We would fix it up, and the landlord would knock the amount we spent off of our rent. One Christmas we woke up to no water. We thought the lines had frozen and went outside to locate the trouble. My husband went to the pump house to turn everything off and discovered that the pump was gone--during the night someone had come in and took it!"
