No matter how busy, the homeowners always find time to spend with their family. When they gather for a meal, the sit at their traditional Japanese style seating area. The hole in the floor means they can sit comfortably without worrying about their legs falling asleep. The vinyl floor in the dining area was made to look like authentic grass tatami mats. The vinyl is much more durable than grass and a bit softer on the feet.
