The homeowners and the designer weren't afraid to mix and match different materials. They started off with the building's original hardwood floors and copper-colored tin ceiling. Additional color was brought in by adding dark-gray drawers below the countertop and tall green cabinets above. To take advantage of the expansive height in the space, the upper cabinets were stacked on top of one another.
