Trends in Action: Mediterranean Bath

I Want That! Baths : Episode HIWTB-102 -- More Projects »
Using today's latest trends, designer Angela Goldthwaite takes a bathroom from boring to beautiful. The bathroom in this new home lacks originality and a personal style of its own, so it is out with the new and in with classic Old World Mediterranean charm.

Old World Mediterranean
Slightly different shades of natural stone tile, a key component in Old World style, cover the floors, walls and vanity. The 16-inch tiles on the floor make the space seem larger. Six-inch tile is wrapped around the case molding and base boards. The tile on the vanity is seamlessly continued up the walls to the ceiling. The borders around the built-in his-and-her mirrors are made from a sculptured bronze tile.
