Marsh Mokhtari

It seemed rather far-fetched that Marsh Mokhtari would be co-hosting an HGTV show. Originally from the United Kingdom and holding a degree in medical physics from the University of Newcastle, England, Mokhtari has had a few careers to date. After graduation, he had a stint as a pro athlete, playing both football and rugby. He then entered into "real" working life in the corporate world, focusing on the venture capital arena in London. It wasn't until he took a trip to Australia in 2001 that he found his true calling—show business. Mokhtari is now a producer, actor and host working on various projects. He's had several successes to date including feature films and television such as guest starring roles on The Closer and CSI:Miami.

Mokhtari's passion for home improvement started at an early age and has culminated in the entire renovation of his home in Los Angeles where he resides with his wife and dog.
