As the host of HGTV's
I Want That! Baths, Angela Chee's journalism experience, vibrant personality and love of design helps viewers find out about the latest trends, coolest products and innovative ideas for the bathroom. Chee, a reporter with KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, previously worked as an anchor, host and reporter for KCBS/KCAL-TV, KBAK-TV in Bakersfield, E! Entertainment Network, The International Channel and Channel One News (a national news network broadcast in high schools). In addition, she helped launch
Entertainment Tonight China for Paramount Pictures.
Since working her way up from a reporter at the NBC affiliate in Palm Springs, Calif., Chee's broadcasting career has taken her across the country and her work has been seen around the world. As a former Miss California National Teen-Ager, Chee traveled the country as a motivational speaker. Today, she is a professional speaker who frequently addresses numerous organizations, sharing her insight and inspiring others. She also works as a freelance writer and teaches journalism courses.
Chee is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in communications and has studied in China at Nanjing University. She resides in Los Angeles and enjoys yoga, volleyball, decorating, cooking and painting.
