Jane Lockhart

Jane Lockhart, host of Get Color!.

Born in Mississauga, Ontario, and now a resident of Toronto, veteran interior designer and color expert Jane Lockhart has long been a leader in her field. She's an award-winning graduate of the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University in Toronto. Her portfolio contains many notable retail, theatrical, restaurant and residential projects. She has also earned a reputation as a highly skilled faux painter.

Lockhart co-hosted the successful interior design series, One House Two Looks, which aired in Canada for six seasons. She established a strong relationship with her audience promoting the use of design and color for leading paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore.

For the past 10 years, Lockhart has traveled across both Canada and the United States presenting her two-hour Color Foundations Seminar. Her latest book, Room Recipes: Cooking Up Style With Color, demonstrates how anyone can create a personal style from the materials of their lives including paint fabrics, textures, furnishings, light and prized belongings.
