Carpenter Jimmy Little literally grew up in the construction business. His father owned a construction company and his mother managed companies ranging from landscaping, lumber, painting and millwork. Little's youth was spent building everything from tree houses to the family home.

Little began his professional career working with set construction on major Broadway shows including Annie, Cabaret, Movin’ Out, Suessical, Jekyll & Hyde and Cinderella.
Little describes his style as retro-modern with inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright and Charles Eames. Little emphasizes clean lines, fun shapes and patterns and works to implement them in the philosophy of his work.
