Drew Williams, carpenter of Don't Sweat It.
Andrew Williams is a first generation American, born to Panamanian parents and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. He received his first taste of construction at age 14 as a carpenter’s apprentice with his uncle’s company in Washington, D.C. As an adult, Williams spent two years as a soldier in the U. S. Army, specializing in field artillery at Fort Sill, Okla. He has also held a post as hardware/ tools specialist at the Home Depot flagship store in New York City, where he conducted learning clinics including kids’ sessions and do-it-herself courses designed for women. Williams has been featured on Home Depot in-store clinic videos and a local news safety segment for senior citizens in the home.
