Paul Zimmerman

Paul Zimmerman, host of Designer Finals.

First hired at KTSM-TV in 1989, veteran reporter Paul Zimmerman is well-known for his offbeat style of storytelling. He has covered the positive side of the human experience: people, culture, arts, entertainment and events of El Paso, Texas.

After a brief stint as part-time sports photographer at KBDC-TV Channel 4, he was hired at KTSM-TV by the legendary Karl O Wyler to be a sports reporter/anchor. Zimmerman remembers, "We were dead last in the ratings, I made peanuts for pay, but I loved it!"

"I've been in the biz for almost 20 years and I still love it. Every day can be different. The camera and imagination are powerful tools that can take you to places you've only dreamed of. Where do you want to go?" After his extensive career reporting and covering sports, Zimmerman is excited to join the Designer Finals team.

He lives in El Paso, Texas, where his favorite activities include skateboarding empty swimming pools and playing with his baby boy, Ziggy Taylor.
