Energetic, enthusiastic and eager to share her ideas with viewers, interior designer Sarah Richardson is the host, producer and co-creator of the
Room Service series.
Passionate about design and the arts, Richardson started her TV career behind the scenes as a prop stylist and set decorator for a lifestyle show. From there she moved on to stints as a set decorator and production designer for the popular entertaining program Savoir Faire and became known for her fresh approach in the emerging world of lifestyle television.
In addition to working in television, Richardson has run her own successful design firm, Sarah Richardson Design (www.sarahrichardsondesign.com) for the past eight years. Her work as a stylist and a designer has continually been showcased in Canada's top design publications. She was the youngest designer named one of Canada's foremost "stylemakers" by Canadian House and Home Magazine, and she is also the contributing design editor for Canadian Home and Country Magazine.
Richardson is known for her clean, elegant approach to modern style. She makes design accessible and inspires viewers with her innovative, fresh approach, her hands-on knowledge and her love of great style.
After many years of designing custom furniture for clients Richardson has just launched her own line of upholstered furniture showcasing her signature look (www.sarahrichardsondesign.com). Her line is available in Toronto, Calgary and Halifax.
