Summer Pruning
Master gardener Paul James discusses why summer is a good season for pruning. He also describes what a natural garden is and answers questions from viewers. He talks about buying mulch in bulk, using pecan shells as mulch and conducts an odor test with a manure-based fertilizer. Then, he revisits some heavy clay soil that was improved with leaves and straw. Later, he looks at the flora and fauna in his garden during the summer.
