Cathie Filian grew up in the Midwest and has been thinking and acting creatively since she can remember. It was no surprise to her family when she received the Outstanding Senior Design Award from Ohio State University.
Cathie Filian and Creative Juice co-host, Steve Piacenza, met on a film set and in 2001 opened their own store and eclectic boutique/art gallery in Hollywood across the street from Paramount Studios.
Today, armed with the rewarding experience of teaching enthusiastic craft junkies a few new tricks, they've turned their attention toward inspiring DIY Network viewers with Creative Juice.
