Chicagoan Steve Piacenza went from designing forts out of scrap wood as a child to hand painting cells for two of his own animated films as an undergraduate. He made a total of eight short films at Columbia College before graduating with degrees in film communications and art.
After more than a decade in the film industry, his keen eye and can-do attitude caught the attention of many celebrities who contracted Piacenza to paint lavish homes.
