Kaleidoscope, Stitching 101, Basket Weaver
Guest Cheryl Stevenson demonstrates how to make a decorative kaleidoscope out of wrapping paper. Carol's cameras focus on Ann Arbor basket weaver Stephen Zeh as he pounds the bark from an actual tree to demonstrate how he harvests the fiber that comprises his baskets. Expert needlework artist, quilter and author Judith Baker Montano joins Carol to demonstrate several basic stitches that can be used in many types of needlework and quilting projects.
